On behalf of myself, our CEO, and our Board of Trustees, I would like to personally thank you for your interest in volunteer opportunities within The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey. Whether this is your first time or you’re a long-time friend to our children and families, we are so thrilled to have you on board!

We work hard to ensure that the at-risk babies, children and parents of our community receive the necessary resources and support to thrive, and your helping hands only increase our abilities! Thank you for caring, and for helping us in our mission of saving children’s lives and building healthy families!

Sincerely,
Pamela V. Cipriano
Director of Corporate Development and Volunteerism

How to Volunteer

Do you have a knack for planning parties? We can always use extra hands to help ensure our activities and events flow smoothly!

[/toggle] [toggle title=”Family Success Centers”]

There are lots of ways you can help in our Family Success Centers (FSCs)! Clerical support, data entry, translation of program materials, and creation of photo displays or photo albums highlighting our activities and events are just some ways volunteers help our staff. Or are you a Weekend Warrior? We’re often looking for help from two or three volunteers for our FSCs Saturday activities.

[/toggle] [toggle title=”Child Care Assistance”]

We are looking for folks to help with child care, on a regular or periodic basis, while parents attend educational programs or services. All child care helpers are required to complete Human Resource Processing, including drug screenings and background checks

If you have a volunteer activity idea, please contact Pam. She loves to think outside of the box and would be thrilled to hear your suggestions. And hopefully she can coordinate your perfect volunteer opportunity!
