Meet Our Family

Hi,

We are Patrick and Kristi. Thank you for taking some time to get to know us!

We have been together over 12 years and have been happily married since 2011. We both come from large families and are close with our siblings and parents. Our families and friends are excited by and supportive of our decision to adopt. Adoption is weaved throughout our support system, with friends, our niece, and Patrick’s cousin having been adopted.

Patrick is a computer software consultant and works from home. He likes to bake, is musically inclined and is an avid outdoorsman. Patrick is looking forward to being a first-time dad! Kristi has an advanced degree in public health with specialization in child safety and injury prevention. She likes to read, used to nanny, and relates well to kids. One of her nicknames in our family is the “baby whisperer” as she tends to settle babies down with ease.

We offer each other good balance and work well together, whether it is a project around the house or participating in a team competition. We both share a passion for trail running and enjoy spending time in the mountains and at the shore. We are excited to share these experiences with a child!

As parents, we will encourage our child to be inquisitive, loving, and open to challenges. We are open to sharing information about you and your family and will raise the child knowing he or she is doubly loved. We will strive to do everything in our power to make sure he or she is happy, healthy, and safe.
