CHSofNJ extends a special Thank You to The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL)! Our AMAR program has received funding from NJDOL’s Cultivating Access, Rights, and Equity (CARE) grant program. We are very excited about this opportunity, and we look forward to educating our clients around the agency about CARE’s program.

First launched in March 2022, the CARE grant promotes outreach, education, and support to expand access to New Jersey’s many generous benefits and protections for eligible workers, including paid family and medical leave benefits, earned sick leave, and related work rights. For the 2023 funding cycle, the CARE grant has expanded its focus to raising employer awareness of these programs and enhancing their capacity to support employees taking leave.

AMAR was chosen to be a recipient of the 2022 Princeton Area Community Foundation Fund for Women and Girls grant. Check out the video below to see AMAR and other local recipients.
